Florida: Watch as chimpanzee sees open sky for first time after 28 years spent in cages

Save the Chimps, a private sanctuary in Fort Pierce, said 28-year-old Vanilla was “awestruck” as she saw open sky for the first time. Before moving to Florida, she lived in a lab in New York before being housed in a “chain-link fence cage” in California, according to the group.
