COVID-19: Can the vaccine programme keep pace with the variants?

England’s vaccine programme has hit another landmark reaching 50 million jabs and offering people aged 32 the chance to book their vaccinations.

Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, says the responsibility to keep the virus at bay has now shifted to the public as a new variant is identified in Yorkshire.
