Kentucky declared a state of emergency after tornadoes level towns

Tornadoes that ripped across Kentucky have been called ‘the deadliest’ they’ve seen and has caused a state of emergency. Authorities fear more than 100 people could have been killed.

One of the storms is thought to have travelled more than 227 miles, which would be the longest continuous path for any tornado on record.
